Q: What does white uncoated mean in the label world?
A: Simply put, white uncoated means that no top coating has been applied to the face of the paper to make it more reflective, shiny or smooth.
Q: What do you mean by monochrome laser printer?
A: Monochrome means that your laser printer only prints using black toner.
Q: Are your Inkjet printable Clear Vinyl sheets really clear?
A: Yes. These labels are totally clear, leaving a gloss finish when applied. They are different from the translucent labels, which have a clear matte, or frosted look to them.
Q: Do you have any weatherproof labels that I can print on?
A: Yes we do. We carry White Vinyl Labels that can be printed using your inkjet printer and White Polyester Labels that can be printed on using your monochrome laser printer. These sheets come in a variety of popular sizes for creating your own water bottle labels, bumper stickers, outdoor signs and bath & body product labels.
Q: When will my product ship?
A: If you purchased labels on sheets or thermal roll labels, you can expect them to be shipped on the same day if the order was given before 3:00 pm EST. If you ordered preprinted labels on rolls, we estimate your labels to ship within 3-5 days.
Q: I have a thermal label printer. What is the difference between thermal transfer, direct thermal labels and mini printer labels?
A: If your thermal printer requires the use of ribbons, you need to purchase Thermal Transfer Labels. If your machine does not use ribbons, you will need Direct Thermal Labels. Most printers have the capability to be set up to use either thermal or direct thermal labels, so we would be unable to tell you which you had if you called us with your Make and Model number. Mini Printers are small direct thermal label printers that typically come on a smaller core size and have fewer labels per roll, making the diameter of the roll size smaller.
Q: If I purchase labels that do not have an Avery compatible template, how can I set these labels up to use them properly?
A: We have created all these layouts for use in Microsoft Word for you as a courtesy, but you can use our labels with any program that allows you to create a custom label layout. You can check this by looking in the help section of the program you wish to use.
Q: Can I add artwork to my preprinted roll labels order?
A: Yes you can. We would need you to either write a comment in the comments section of your order stating that you have artwork you would like to add and then email the file to us, or simply call a customer service representative for further instructions.
Q: What types of artwork are accepted for your preprinted roll labels?
A: Please refer to our artwork page.
Q: Can you create a design for our preprinted labels?
A: We can take your existing image and recreate it in the format that we need to use to print your labels, but we are not a design firm and do not create designs from scratch.
Q: Can I get a proof of my preprinted label?
A: If you request one, we will provide you with a digital proof via email. We only provide printed proofs on our Process Color printed orders.
Q: Do you do custom label sizes for preprinted labels?
A: Yes, we can do preprinted roll labels in almost any square or rectangular size. Our minimum order is typically 500 labels for these types of jobs. However, we are limited to the particular shapes that are listed on the website. For example, we would not be able to create any other shapes, ie a "bell". Q: Do you do custom label sizes on sheets?
A: Yes, we can create custom label sizes on most of our different face stocks. Different minimums apply to different products. Please call a customer service representative at 866-252-1520 for a quote.
